About Kittiary:
Kittiary is a small, CFA registered, Persian cattery located in a suburb of Houston, Texas. It was born in January 2003 from Liza Callaghan's great love of Persian cats. In recent years, Liza shares her passion for Persians with her partner, Jimmy Hill.
About The Cats:
Kittiary was born from love and devotion to the cats so the cats are always happy, healthy, clean and spoiled rotten. They run the house, sleep in the beds, eat the best foods, are PKD negative and fully vaccinated. In other words, they run the lives of the people they own ... as cats should.
Kittiary Persians' pedigrees are a carefully planned combination of many outstanding Persian lines. There are no exotics or color-point carriers in the pedigrees.
About the Kittiary Goals:
Kittiary is a very small cattery and will always remain small. Kittiary cats are bred for health first, temperament second and show quality third. A primary goal is continual improvement of the line in order to contribute to the Persian breed and ensure the continuity of these wonderful cats.
Kittiary cats are exhibited at cat shows sponsored by the Cat Fanciers' Association. The opinions of the judges are indicative of whether or not the Kittiary goals are being met.
About The People: The Kittiary people include Liza Callaghan and Jimmy Hill as well as our families and many of our close friends.
Jimmy and Liza are both members of the CFA Persian Breed Council as well as Stars & Stripes Tabby & Tortie Cat Club.
