Kittiary Grands
and Other Notable Cats

The cats pictured below (in order of appearance)  are Kittiary cats that have achieved the title Grand Champion, Distinguished Merit or better. This tribute is intended to showcase some of the fun and success we've had at cat shows. It is in no way meant to lessen the role of a nice breeder cat. I strongly believe in the importance of "just" a "breeder" cat. Kittiary could not have produced the show quality cats featured here without them.

GC, RW Kittiary Fiesta! of Cacao

"Fiesta" is the first Kittiary-bred Grand Champion - and she certainly started us off in style - a one show (five ring) grand!!  During her show career she was Best Kitten many times, highest scoring kitten in show several times, Best Cat many times and even highest scoring cat in show once.

Fiesta is also the first Kittiary-bred Regional Winner!!  She received the following Gulf Shore Region regional awards for the 2004-2005 show season:

Eighth Best Kitten
Best of Breed, Persian - Parti-Color Division
Best of Color, Persian - Parti-Color Division, Tortoiseshell

Fiesta was shown by Janet & Carissa Altschul of Cacao Cattery.  "Fi" will be making her home with them in Dallas.

GC Kittiary Christmas Wishes! of Cloverhill

"Chrissy" was a joy to raise and love while she was here with me. She was shown by my friend, Mary Heidel, before going to Europe to Cloverhill Cattery. Thanks to Mary and Graham for being good to her and loving her.

GC Kittiary Fair Play!

"Spike" is such a big 'ol handsome baby. I thoroughly enjoyed raising him and showing him. He was a two show grand. He remains at Kittiary to hang out with the girls. You can read more of Spike's story on the "Cats" page.

GC Kittiary La Belle!

"Patti" is an absolute doll and a joy to be around. No picture I have does justice to her beauty. I am thrilled to have another of my girls to remain here at Kittiary. More information, pedigrees and photos can be found on the "Cats" page.

GC, RW Kittiary Cuervo Especial!

19th Best Kitten in Region Three for the 2007-2008 season.

On May 4th, 2008 Cuervo became the first cat in CFA history to earn all 6 winner's ribbons and over 200 grand points in one weekend making him the FIRST "Zero to Hero". That was one heck of an awesome weekend!!

Cuervo also remains at Kittiary and is featured on our "cats" page.

GC Kittiary Margarita! of Comesee

"Rita" is simply a very special girl. She is sweet, affectionate, beautiful and was a two show grand. She is co-owned with Irene Allen of Comesee Cattery. She lives with and was shown by Irene with me as head cheerleader. Thank you so much, Irene, for loving and caring for our girl as you do. You are both very dear to me.

GC Kittiary Who'da Thunk It? of Mabuhay

"Who'da" is a lovely blue tabby-white girl from a repeat breeding of Cuervo and Margarita (Sunny x Karma). She is of the same quality although a lower white version. "Who" was shown by her new owner, Carla Bizzell, of Mabuhay Exotics. Lovely Who'da did very well at a couple kitten shows then continued being shown as an adult in the 2009-2010 season. She went on to become a 2-show grand! Thank you, Carla, for being so good to Who'da!!

..........

GP, RW Kittiary's Tom Foolery!

"Tom" is a wonderful brown tabby-white van male from a litter of all boys born on April Fool's Day 2009. Tom is co-owned with and was shown last season by my friend Mary Heidel. Tom finished last season as 22nd best kitten in the Southwest Region! Thanks and congratulations to Mary and Tom!

Once Tom was an adult, he returned to me to be shown in Premiership. He became a Grand Premier on September 11th, 2010. Tom is the fifth Grand for his Dam, GC Brannaway Georgia O'Keefe of Kittiary, DM. What a special boy!!

..........

GC Kittiary Sho'nuff!

"Fred" is a really nice red mackerel tabby and white male who was shown here before going to his new home in Colombia. He granded in four shows. He and I both enjoyed his show career very much. He granded at the Brazos Valley Cat Club show on December , 2010. Thanks to all the judges who appreciated him!

..........

GC, RW Kittiary's Lucky Shot!

"Lucky" is a really exciting cream-white boy. I had a blast showing him! He was awarded BEST kitten many times and was highest scoring kitten in show at more than half his shows.

Lucky went on to become a two show grand at just 8 months of age at the Stars & Stripes Tabby & Tortie 6 x 6 shows in Humble, TX on January 1st & 2nd, 2011. Lucky finished the season as 5th Best Kitten in the Gulfshore Region. Yay Lucky!!

With his GC, his Dam earns the Distinguished Merit title so she is now CH Kittiary Spitfire!, DM. She is Kittiary's first home-bred DM cat!

..........

CH Kittiary Spitfire!, DM

"Spitfire"is certainly a treasure. She is one of my very first kittens with a very interesting and unusual pedigree. Her Sire was loaned to me by Kristine and Warren Joubert when I first started Kittiary. She went to Catcharm Cattery with him when she was young and produced four GP offspring there (GP Catcharm Cream Delight, GP Catcharm Peaches'N Cream, GP Catcharm Toby Keith & GP Catcharm Randy Travis). Spitfire was returned to me when they decided to focus more on solid color Persians. Many warm thanks to Warren & Kristine for taking such good care of her and for returning her to me.

In spitfire's first litter here, she produced GC Kittiary's Lucky Shot!, her 5th qualifying offspring for the DM title. This makes her Kittiary's first home-bred DM cat! Interesting trivia: all five qualifying offspring were cream-white males and I DON'T "DO" DILUTES! Haha .

GC Kittiary Sir Purr!

"Steve" is a seriously fun cat and he is the first kitten Jimmy ever chose as "his" pick for our next show cat. Steve was a great choice, too! He showed well, enjoyed it and granded easily. Jimmy named him after the Carolina Panthers mascot and we call him Steve after Steve Smith.
